2015 ~ This “Tarot Journey” blog was started in 2009 but unfortunately I didn’t progress very far on that first tarot journey. So, as my Dark Moon Circle is undertaking another study of the Tarot, this time using the Thoth deck and the associations with the Qabalah, I’m resurrecting this blog to serve as my journal of this current project. Hopefully I’ll do better this time around. 😉

About Me

In a previous life I was a Zoologist; I received my Bachelor of Science (Zoology) from the University of NSW (Australia) then worked as a Technical Officer in the RPHH Animal Breeding Unit, followed by the UNSW School of Zoology – primarily in the fields of palaeozoology and zoogeography, and animal behaviour (mainly kangaroos) – until the birth of my first son. Since then I’ve been a “stay-at-home-mum”, and now have 4 wonderful sons.

I also happen to be a witch and a member of and website manager for a Pagan group, called Spheres Of Light (SOL), in Sydney Australia, and it is because of my interest in witchcraft and the occult in general that I am attempting to understand and interpret the tarot. To help me along on this journey I decided to create this blog to document my progress (or lack of it, LOL).
